Murray Hill

Overlooking the Potomac River and Catoctin Mountains, Murray Hill is just minutes from historic Leesburg, Virginia.  An eighteenth-century style manor with a gorgeous stone façade makes a stately backdrop for an elegant event, and is thoughtfully appointed with period pieces, sweeping fireplaces and a Steinway baby grand.  Two sets of French doors open from the living room onto a screened porch, a beautiful opportunity for a small reception or brunch.

The property itself is comprised of 57 acres of wooded expanses, formal gardens and river views.  Ceremony and reception locations include the sophisticated manor house, poolside areas, side patios and  slate terrace overlooks.  Stunning and stately, Murray Hill is a lovely location.

With a setting reminiscent of a secret garden, this outdoor affair was wispy and soft in style and full of deep, vibrant hues.  To offset the majestic plum of the bridesmaids' dresses, a palette of orange, crimson and lavender graced the floral centerpieces and bouquets, while plum accents brightened farmhouse-style tables.  Candles and twinkle lights accented bare barn beams and sweeping fabric draping brought an air of grace to the rustic space.
